At Tributaries, we mainly work with an aspirational audience – surfers, fly fishermen, people who chase their passions. From our experience, we know our audience is enthralled when they get to the core of a brand, of a story, of an adventure. Corporate videos are a homogenized world, we want to take your audience a step deeper into who your company is, what it stands for.
Whether it’s telling your brand story to investors or customers, highlighting your product or service advantages, or building employee profiles to strengthen your corporate culture – we can help tell a story that’s engaging, interesting and fun.

Engaging and Interesting
When we hear a compelling story, we open up our ability for connection because we can relate, because we see that story as a part of our very own lives.
Our goal in this web series is to tell the unique stories within the company in order to create an authentic connection with our customers. Instead of any other product interaction by our audience, we want our people to feel as if they’re inviting an old friend into their home, sincerely connect.
Furthermore, telling the stories of your team-members not only shows the public how important they are, but also demonstrates the importance internally.
Let’s tell your story.
First things first, let’s talk. We offer free consultation on telling stories that matter to you and your audience.
HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK?
Let’s walk through the process in how these episodes are created.
To start, we’ll brainstorm 15-20 canidates who we should reach out to. The director and producer will schedule and execute Skype conversations with all canidates to get a feel for screen value. We might schedule another interview to ask additional questions to make sure.
Once we have our final cast selected. Tributaries will write script based on the conversations with candidates. After a few reviews internally, we’ll all agree on a script.
This is an important part of budgeting and scheduling the production. This is where we can see what’s needed for every piece of the project. It’s a good starting place for a plan. From here, we’ll schedule our Production Round I.
PRODUCTION ROUND I
This is our time to interview canidates and start constructing their stories. Once we have all interviews, we’ll head home to organize and radio edit with all of our cast’s episodes. We want to make sure we’re hearing exactly what we want before Production Round II
PRODUCTION ROUND II
This is when we shoot the B-Roll. From our canidates interview, we’ll shoot their stories in a cinematic style. Doing production in two rounds allows us to be very efficient for B-Roll. A lot of the time, we’re editing in camera.
This is where it all comes together! We’ll craft all the footage we’ve shot into our web series using some the latest editing tools and visual effects. We are a complete service post-production facility – audio mixing, motion graphic design and color correction are steps taken here.
This is the fun part. We’ll encode your video files appropriately for any site, whether it’s Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram. We’ll hand these files off and any other encodes needed via the cloud where you’ll have access to these files anytime, anyplace.
So, What’s next?
We would love to talk more. We’ve given you a good primer on what it takes to create an engaging corporate documentary, but now it’s time for us to hear your story.
