Forest Service relaxes rules on film permitting on public lands.

The final rule reduces the administrative burden associated with permitting by eliminating the need for a permit when fewer than six people are filming. There’s also no fee or cost recovery charged for filming groups of fewer than nine people, unless special circumstances apply.
