KC Badger Has Never Caught a Steelhead

Our personal favorite part about fly fishing is the opportunity it creates to make fun of our friends. It’s a simple pleasure in life. We are also excited to have a good friend in KC Badger who allows us to make fun of him in public (thanks KC). This is our latest work for Redington Gear – we had the honor of not catching steelhead with KC.

Until he caught one! This was a very fun piece for us. It takes a village! Thanks to everyone involved. 

Steelhead are the mythical, uncatchable creatures of the PNW – right up there with Bigfoot – well known to be the fish of a thousand casts. But to Kc Badger, they are much more than that. Since moving from the arid desert of Arizona to the rainy city of Portland, steelhead have haunted Kc.
