When you walk onto the Laxa, it’s a little daunting. You can see how huge the river is and you’ve heard of how big the fish are. It’s not until you finally net one of these monsters that you can finally relax. The Laxa River in Eastern Iceland was an absolutely memorable river on this trip – big fish, bad weather, good friends.
