See for Yourself: The Origin of Howler Brothers

We looked back to the first time we worked with the Howler crew.

It was our small, name-sake film called Tributaries (watch it on Youtube!!). That was a tiny film, with a huge idea, no budget and, frankly, not enough filmmaking talent/skills to legitimately pull it off. This was 2013/2014.

But, the Howler Brothers, for whatever reasons, believed in the concept and threw their support behind a small, faking-it-till-I-make-it filmmaker. They sent clothes, a little cash and, as always, a GREAT attitude. We made a film that travelled a big chunk of the world over about 4 months. It taught me/Tributaries a lot of what we know about filmmaking. It’s literally why we exist today. So.

We are very honored to help tell the story of Howler Brothers on their 10 year anniversary. See for Yourself isn’t exactly a “serious” film, but, seriously, we are always in awe of the Howler Brothers creative prowess and we’re just happy to be a part of bringing it to a big screen.

Shot over 4 days in Austin, TX, with around 5 months of post-production – we had so much fun taking a different angle on a brand/origin story that only a company like Howler can pull off. Congratulations on 10 years Howler Brothers.
