🇺🇸 Made in America: New work for Sage + DECKED
New stories from our favorite Made in America brands: Sage Fly Fishing and DECKED.
Hello folks and friends, here's a mid-year update from Tributaries. Not only do we have some new work to share, we have an updated website that you might want to check out.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, I'm personally looking forward to getting out this fall with Tributaries' CEO Betty (featured at the bottom of this email).
Let's get into some American-made companies we love working for:
Every Broken Rod has a Story - Sage Fly Fishing
Sage got themselves into a bit of quandary: during covid their repair department was inundated with rods that needed repair, I heard a number that they had 30k rods backed up at one point. With factory shutdowns and rods piling up, suffice to say, Sage’s customers were getting anxious to get back on the water. To solve this, Sage retooled their entire repair department from the ground up - putting in a ton of hard work on processes, automation and just using good ol’ American elbow grease to get things to a place where they’re turning around broken rods within 2 weeks. Excellent work by all! We are honored to be a part of their announcement of a completely re-designed, efficient and badass repair department. We also had a lot of fun breaking these rods.
Further, we created a series of videos that correspond with the emails that update customers throughout their repair process, view all of them here.
DECKED This is Getting After It | Carson Storch
Our goal with DECKED's latest series was to ingratiate ourselves with the audiences of DECKED's incredible humans. Maybe tell a story they haven't heard before. Alpinist Jackson Marvell, Captain Lacey Kelly, Champion Mountain Biker Carson Storch and Renaissance Man James Nash all brought their own character, humor and incredible stories to this series and we were so happy to help tell it.
From DECKED:
This is one of the most talented slopestyle and freeride mountain bikers in the world, with a penchant for moving dirt and a passion for helping to bring up the next generation of riders. This is a man who once jumped out of a helicopter with no parachute. See how that went in “This Is Getting After It,” Episode 3: Carson Storch.
And as promised, Tributaries' CEO and I might disappear a bit this fall but we're always open to new work, so just reach out and say hello! You'd be saving some pheasant's lives.
Thanks for your time, hope you're having a great week. -rc
